Bom dia,
desta vez para tentar transformar na versão utilizada pelo 8º Exército Britânico no Norte da África, durante a Batalha de El Alamein.
Pelo que li foi usada a versão inicial deste veículo e então algumas adaptações/alterações serão necessárias. O kit já vem o a suspensão VVSS inicial o que ajuda bastante pois seria uma transformação quase impossível de fazer sem recursos. Algumas alterações no arranjo interno (rack de munições), uma Browning .50 com reparo diferente do que acompanha o Kit, o deck do motor tem alguns detalhes para acrescentar assim como na chapa traseira do mesmo. O maior desafio ainda parece ser a confecção das saias laterais que deverá ser toda em scratch. Será feita com base nas poucas fotos disponíveis.
A tripulação que gostaríamos de colocar nele, assim como as munições em latão ainda não estão em nossa posse. Esperamos que um dia elas cheguem a tempo para participar.

From what I read, the initial version of this vehicle was used and so many adaptations/changes will be necessary. The kit already comes with the initial VVSS suspension wich helps a lot as it would be a an almost impossible transformation to do without the proper resources. Some changes in the internal arrfangement (ammunition rack), a Browning .50 with a different support than the one that comes with the kit, the engine deck has some details to add, as well as the rear plate. The biggest challenge still seems to be making the side skirts, wich should be entirely scratch-finished. It will be based on the few photos available.
The crew we should like to put on it, as well as the brass ammunition, are not yet in our possession. We hope that one day they will arrive just in time.

Diesmal um zu versuchen, es in die Version umzuwandeln, die von der britischen 8. Armee in Nordafrika während der Schlacht von El Alamein verwendet wurde.
Nach dem, was ich gelesen habe, wurde die ursprügliche Version dieses Fahrzeugs verwendet und daher werden einige Anpassugen/Änderungen erforderlich sein.
Das Kit enthält bereits die anfängliche VVSS-Federung, was sehr hilfreich ist, da es ohne Ressourcen eine fast unmögliche Transformation wäre. Einige Änderung an der internen Anordnung (Munitionsregal), eine Browning .50 mit einer anderen Reparatur als die, die im Bausatz enhalten ist, am Motordeck müssen einige Details hinzugefügt werden, ebenso an der hinteren Platte desselben. Die grösste Herausforderung scheint immer noch die Anfertigung der Seitenschweller zu sein, die komplett aus Kratzern gefertigt werden sollten. Es basiert auf den wenigen verfügbaren Fotos.
Die Besatzung, die wir darauf setzen würden, sowie die Messingmunition sind noch nicht in unserem Besitz. Wir hoffen, dass sie eines Tages rechtzeitig zur Teilnahme ankommen.
